Why a Festival?

How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard?  And how are they to hear without someone preaching?  And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”  …So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.  (Romans 10:14-17)

The Festival vehicle is our method for reaching as many people in a single location as possible with the Truth of the Gospel message that has the power to change lives, families, communities, cities and entire countries for the glory of God. Festivals are held in the largest open space a city has available and centrally located so that it’s convenient to get to for the greater population in that area.  What draws the crowd is the music because the artists are widely known, popular, mainstream Spanish artists, but what changes them is the message of the Lord Jesus Christ.  By design, we go to smaller, less populated cities where very few (if any) music artists ever appear, rather than large metropolis cities where concerts and events are more commonly offered.  For this reason, when people hear that their favorite music artists/groups are coming to their city AND the concert is completely free of cost, the turn-out in attendance is tremendous.  And because the artists we use are also Christians themselves, they have an incredible impact as their testimonies are shared.  The Gospel is presented in a clear and culturally relevant way, and an invitation to accept Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior, is given.  Our trained counselors – thousands of them – are ready and waiting to pray with decision-makers as they respond and then collect their information for proper follow up by the local churches involved.
